EVENT! Urban Development - Industry Takeover

Rich Mix, East London WAS THE PLACE TO BE Saturday 16th April as Urban Development literally TAKEOVER with there All Day Seminar and showcase. The event was targeted at young media and music up and comers who hope to one day work and RULE the industry!

The day consisted of Seminars, Masterclass and Workshops in all areas of media and the music industry taught by media professionals, you had DJ's, Record Company workers, Video Directors, Managers, A&R and lots more all there to give you their words of wisdom (believe me! I definitely had my paper and pen out taking notes!).

The event also had an open mic competiton where you saw rappers and singers from all around London showing their skills to compete for prizes and of course the attention of the music industry's Elite.

Their was TOP performances from the likes of P Money, Cleo Sol, Selah, Jay Norton, Lovelle, Roxxxan, Pepstar and so many more. But the big draw of the event was of course the amazing performance from KANO. (The capitals stand for 'K-A-NOOOOOOOOO!) who was also joined on the stage by Ghetts which set the room on FIRE!

But through out the day I had my networking head on as I ran from place to place meeting the media industry Elite and also bumped into a few familiar faces on the way such as LIVE MAGAZINE! Yes, London's finest youth magazine was there supporting Urban Development and UK talent which of course, is what we always do! :)

(Live Magazine)

I also bumps into rappers Wariko and Scrufizzer (really nice guys I met previously at the ZDot shoot!), Jamal Edwards of SB.TV *cough* also on the cover of Live Magazine!*cough* (More on that later!). Pepstar, Andre Spence, GT Solo, Chantelle Fiddy, Sigh-Anne Anderson, Ray Paul, Carly Cussen and lots others. Yes, all this meant a lot of running around for me lol.

(Andre Spence right there^^! Yeah, more on that later!)

But in all the day was just EPIC. Everything and everyone you need to know in or about the media/music industry was there, the performances were great, the presenters were great and the staff at Urban Development were fantastic!

Woo. So whens the next one?

OH AND. Just in case you missed the event for some reason that is definitely NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Here's some more of the pictures from the rest of the day/night. Just to make you jealous mwahaha! :D
