Did you listen to this on Mistajam's radio show yesterday? Well I did! I usually listen to his show but I specifically tuned in to hear the first play of Maverick Sabre's latest single 'Let Me Go'.

 

As usual Maverick pulls out all the stops for the old school meets new school track which combines his stunning vocals with some crazy saxophone instrumental. He also most recently filmed a video for this single in Las Vegas, talk about doing it big ah?

 

Words can't describe how excited I am to hear his full album and go see him live!!!!!!

India to miss partial solar eclipse

Sky gazers in India will miss the year's second partial solar eclipse Wednesday as it will not be visible in the country.

The second partial solar eclipse of 2011 will happen on June 1. The eclipse will not cover India but can be seen from the high latitudes of the Northern Hemisphere.

The partial solar eclipse begins Wednesday at sunrise in Siberia and northern China where the shadow first touches earth at 10.55 p.m. (Indian time).

As seen from the Earth, a Solar Eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth, and the Moon fully or partially covers the Sun as viewed from a location on Earth.

Rajnikanth fine, recovering well: Dhanush

There is good news for superstar Rajinikanth's fans. He is responding well to treatment and is in good health.

Actor Rajnikanth, now being treated at a hospital in Singapore, is fine and recovering well, his son-in-law and actor Dhanush said on Tuesday.

"He (Rajnikanth) is recovering well. He is doing fine. He is responding well to the treatment," he told reporters in Chennai.

"Doctors have found out the root cause of his (Rajnikanth’s) trouble. It is something that can be reversed," Dhanush said.

The superstar is being treated at Singapore's top hospital, the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre.

Dhanush dismissed as a joke reports that the actor required a kidney transplantation.

"There is no kidney transplant. It’s a joke."

January Jones: "X-Men: First Class" Lingerie Lady

Giving fans even more reason to hit theaters this coming weekend, January Jones shows off her fine figure in newly-released lingerie-clad stills from her new movie "X-Men: First Class".

Set to be released on June 3rd, the "Mad Men" hottie worked it for the cameras in some seriously sexy garb as she portrayed her Emma Frost character for the much-awaited superhero caper.

As for her own special power, January recently said that becoming invisible to her fans is the ability in which she possesses.

She told, “I have this knack of being able to go out and not be recognized. I wander around town in jeans and a T-shirt and my hair in a ponytail so no one really spots me."

Jones continued, "If I do get spotted no one believes it’s me because they think I look far too small. I think the camera must add ten pounds!”

Nicole Scherzinger: Worried About Cole Backlash

Gearing up for the busy day ahead, Nicole Scherzinger was spotted leaving her hotel in Paris, France this morning (May 31).

The former Pussycat Doll is in the City of Lights to do some promotional appearances ahead of her new album’s release.

Back in the States, Nicole was recently chosen to replace Cheryl Cole as a judge on the new talent show “The X Factor,” and while she’s grateful for the gig, Scherzinger is fearful that British fans will react negatively.

A source revealed, "Nicole is really upset at what happened to Cheryl. She knows her well and thought she would have been a great in the show. She knows how people in Britain are so proud of their stars and want to see them do well in the States too, so she is aware there could be a lot of unhappiness surrounding the rejection.”

"The last thing she wants is bad blood between herself and Cheryl and anyone thinking she might have been lobbying to get her place. Nicole wants to see her do well in whatever she does next and hopes there won't be any hard feelings."

Heating up the cover of British GQ's July issue, Rosie Huntington Whiteley shows off her fabulous long legs.

The “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” babe looks absolutely stunning in the accompanying photo spread, and discusses her bouts with bullying growing up.

Given her amazing lips and beautiful face, Rosie had to deal with jealous kids picking on her, that is until she scored her first modeling gigs.

"I was really teased about the way I looked at school. I got teased because of my lips. I got called t*t lips - because I had big lips but no breasts. And then I was called kipper lips."

"There was this big group of girls who were the local answer to Mean Girls and they would storm the bathrooms shouting 'I'm going to f***ing get you Lips. See you on the school bus."

Jessica Szohr Talks "Gossip Girl" Departure

She spent four years playing Vanessa Abrams, and Jessica Szohr didn’t sound too sad to be leaving her “Gossip Girl” gig.

The beautiful brunette chatted with press about how her departure is mutually beneficial and will allow her to pursue other avenues.

"When I started the fourth season, I kind of had a talk with the producers. We didn't know what we were going to do with the characters. After playing someone for four years, it can be a little repetitive.”

“So I was ready for a change. I had so much fun and I made friends I'll have for a lifetime and it was so great to work in the city, but I got the most I could out of Vanessa. I have two movies that I start in August and July and I have a couple movies coming out in the next couple months."

Holly Madison: Memorial Day Bikini Babe

Stepping out for a fabulous fete, Holly Madison was spotted showing off her fabulous form at a Memorial Day party in Las Vegas yesterday (May 30).

The former “Girls Next Door” hottie looked amazing in a multi-colored string bikini as she posed for the paparazzi at the Sin City shindig.

Holly has dropped some weight after the producers of her Vegas show told her she needed to slim down a bit.

She told press, “I always thought I looked fine. It was a shock to me when they told me to lose weight... I feel like I changed my eating habits to really healthy. I’ve lost a few pounds. I’m still getting there and deciding if I even want to lose weight.”

Robert Pattinson's Toronto Tuesday

Kicking off another workday, Robert Pattinson was spotted on the set of “Cosmopolis” early this morning (May 31).

The “Twilight” stud looked intense as he made his away around the Toronto, Canada locale, sporting a brown ball cap, green button-up shirt, and blue trousers.

Coming up this Sunday, Robert and his costar/girlfriend Kristen Stewart will compete for the Best Kiss award at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards.

A favorite in the category, Robert confessed that he’d be a little stressed if he and Stewart went home empty-handed this year.

"It's kind of terrifying if you suddenly stop winning it. You're like, 'Oh God!' It's almost worse than if you stop winning, like, acting awards or whatever. If you can't kiss anymore, it's like, 'What? I'm still good at kissing!'"

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett's Memorial Day Outing

Making the most of the Memorial Day holiday weekend, Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett were spotted out at a Los Angeles park on Sunday (May 29).

The former “Girls Next Door” babe and her football-playing hubby treated their son Hank to some active quality time and looked like the picture perfect family.

Kendra recently told press she is back to her old body after competing on “Dancing with the Stars,” and she couldn’t be happier.

"I was size 2 or 4 before 'Dancing with the Stars' and now I'm a size 0. My waist is still shrinking! When you work out, you produce so much lactic acid, so my body always looks thicker and more muscular. Now that I've had a couple weeks off, my body is fuller and looks better. I hope I'll look like this forever. But to be honest, I will never be satisfied!"

Kourtney Kardashian: Proud Manhattan Mommy

Enjoying some quality time with her son Mason, Kourtney Kardashian was spotted out in New York City on Sunday (May 29).

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” babe looked so proud as her little guy climbed some stairs all by himself while the paparazzi looked on.

Kourtney recently told press that her newly-engaged sister Kim Kardashian has been nothing but real with her fiancé Kris Humphries.

“Kim is totally herself in front of him. Everything is easy, comfortable, no stress. He fits in with the family already. I think they’re just themselves, and I think that’s the most important thing.”

“The Hobbit” Films’ Release Dates Announced

Everybody loved the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, and now director Peter Jackson is working on a pair of new prequel films.

“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” is slated for a December 14, 2012 release and “The Hobbit: There and Back Again” will come out on December 13, 2013.

“The Hobbit” flicks will follow Bilbo Baggins as he endeavors to “reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from Smaug the Dragon.”

Martin Freeman will star as Bilbo, and series favorites like Ian McKellen, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Christopher Lee, Hugo Weaving, and Elijah Wood will all be featured.
