The Weeknd is slowly but surely becoming one of my favourite new artists of 2011. This Toronto singer never seem to disappoint with any music he comes out with and this new one titled 'The Birds Part 1' is no different.
The latest tune taken of his new mixtape 'Thursday' is the follow up to his most recent internet release 'Rolling Stone'. The new track is a strong, statement track that showcases The Weeknd distinctive voice mixed with the military-esk instrumental. The song, like his others, continues to showcase The Weeknd ever mysterious persona and his talent for coming up with heartfelt lyrics.
